Due to lockdown and COVID-19 pandemic people are forced to work remotely. While #stayhome , it is important for companies to engage their employees and motivate them .

While working remotely you have freedom to do your job whenever and wherever you choose. But the freedom  also comes with several challenges. In offices there are multiple opportunities to meet and interact informally with each other and these little informal conversations form the basis of team building .

Virtual team building during lockdowns

Virtual team building is the practice of organizing online activities that give  employees under lockdown chance to socialize and connect with colleagues they have not met in the last couple of months.

In physical office spaces, where you had a chance to chat over a cup of tea. During work from home teams don’t have the same opportunities to interact outside of the scope of work—there’s no stopping by each other’s desk when one of you is in one corner of the city and the other one in another corner of the city.

Why virtual team building is important?

Virtual team building can help replace valuable in-person forms of communication that are missing these days due to lockdowns. the chances of talking to and interacting with one another positively affects their mental and physical health.
